Feedback and Complaints

 

We welcome feedback from everyone who uses our services - whether children, young people or adults.

We will take account of your comments and use these to help improve our services.

We believe that everyone has a right to be treated with respect, which means that we want to listen to your experience and views of our service.

If you are currently involved with Cafcass then you should have received a postcard from us with your personal login details. If you are having trouble logging in, someone at your local Cafcass office will be able to help.

Whether or not you wish to make a formal complaint, we want to hear from you if you are unhappy with our service. Please let us know if you think we have broken the terms outlined in our national standards; if you are unhappy with the behaviour of our staff; or if you think there may be errors or mistakes in our reports or other areas of our work.

How to make a complaint:

1) If possible, put your complaint in writing. 

2) Send your complaint to the Service Manager at your Cafcass office. If for any reason you are unable to put your complaint in writing, please let the us know and
we will offer to help you. Click here for a list of all Cafcass offices.

3) We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and explain what happens next.

 

If you are not sure who the Service Manager is, or how to contact them, or if you need any other advice or support to help you to make a complaint please contact us and we will do our best to help.
