Cafcass Young People's Board

The Cafcass Young People's Board was established in August 2006. The role of the board is to give young people a direct say on the way in which Cafcass is run and on the service it provides to children, young people and their families.

Many of the young people on the board have direct experience of both Cafcass and the family courts - having either been through divorce or family breakdown, lived in care or been adopted.

A number of members of our Young People's Board have also been trained as Peer Mentor's to give advice to other children. Click here to find out more about Cafcass' Peer Mentoring Scheme.
