Cafcass Board approves finding of disciplinary inquiry

The Cafcass Board today announced that the
employment contract of Diane Shepherd, Chief Executive, has been
terminated with immediate effect. The Board decision was made at
the conclusion of a full and thorough disciplinary process.
Interim arrangements to handle the duties of
Chief Executive and Accounting Officer have been in place since her
suspension in November 2001. The Board will now review these
arrangements in light of this decision.
