Cafcass, the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service, has issued a consultation paper outlining its plans to deliver better outcomes for children and young people in the family courts by redirecting more resources to the frontline.
Cafcass, the organisation that looks after children’s interests in the family courts, has entered into an innovative partnership with Barnardo’s for the provision of a Library and Information Service.
In its annual report, “A Voice for Children”, Cafcass reports on its performance and the development of new services for children and their families involved in cases in the family courts.
Consultation begins today on a new Cafcass framework to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
