New Cafcass Board Member

 

Kevin Brennan, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Children, Young People and Families, today announced the appointment of Ernie Finch to the Board of the Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (Cafcass) from 1 April 2008.

 

Kevin Brennan said:

“I am pleased to announce that, the Secretary of State has appointed Ernie Finch to the Board.  He will be a great addition to the Cafcass Board bringing considerable expertise, which will contribute to the improvements in Cafcass as it works to safeguard and promote the best interests of children in family court proceedings.”

 

Ernie has had senior commercial management and board experience holding key roles in project management, change programmes and customer service.

He has successfully lead reviews in the public sector advising on and managing business development and improvement.  This includes working with the family justice system to address unnecessary delay in Public Law Cases and contributing to Programme Boards and Steering Groups.

 

He has a portfolio of commercial and public interest roles.
