Cafcass publishes July and August 2010 care demand
statistics

Care application demand has remained at a very high level. Between
April and August 2010, Cafcass received 3,744 new applications.
This figure is 3.7 % higher when compared to the same period last
year. The April, May, July and August application numbers were the
highest ever recorded by Cafcass for these individual months.
Cafcass care demand statistics will be published on a monthly
basis in the second week of each month, following
month end.
