Cafcass care statistics November 2011

There were 865 care applications in November 2011.
Care application demand has remained at a very high level.
Between April and November 2011, Cafcass received 6,678 new
applications. This figure is 9.7% higher when compared to the same
period last year. Applications received between May to November
this year have been the highest ever recorded by Cafcass for these
individual months. The figures for November 2011 are the fourth
highest care application figures ever recorded for a single month
by Cafcass.
