Cafcass care statistics September 2011

There were 835 care applications during September 2011.

Care application demand has remained at a very high level. Between April and September 2011, Cafcass received 4,945 new applications. This figure is 9.1 % higher when compared to the same period last year. Applications received between May to September this year has been the highest ever recorded by Cafcass for these individual months. The figures for August 2011 are the second highest care applications ever recorded for a single month by Cafcass.
