Cafcass Newly Qualified Social Worker Programme

A new opportunity has arisen for newly
graduated social workers who are looking for an exciting
opportunity to join us. We will provide you with the appropriate
support as you follow a three year NQSW career pathway, which we
have developed for you to gain the skills and expertise to qualify
as a Family Court Advisor upon completion of the programme.
This programme is registered with the Children’s Workforce
Development Council (CWDC) NQSW Pilot Scheme and we will support
you in the achievement of your CWDC Learning Outcome Statements
during your first year.
We are looking for 2009, 2010 and 2011
Social Work Graduates who are registered with the General Social
Care Council (GSCC) upon taking up post in spring 2011. You
will have had pre-training experience of working with children and
families in a statutory environment along with experience of
dealing with challenging situations with children and adults. You
will need to be prepared to travel outside your local area if
required.
