Recruitment for Newly Qualified Social Workers is now open

We’re looking to grow highly skilled professionals who’ll ensure that the voice of the child comes first.

Our Newly Qualified Social Worker (NQSW) programme is now open for applications for soon-to-be qualified Social Workers (or those who have recently gained a recognised qualification) who want exceptional grounding in children’s social care.

This programme is overseen by the Cafcass Social Work Academy and enables NQSW to develop practice skills in a safe environment. Led by expert social workers, it will support their journey, enhance their expertise and ensure that they can work with confidence. As well as an empowering peer network, participants have access to a mentor plus high levels of reflective supervision. Over the course of a structured three-year programme, NQSW develop professional maturity, gain hands-on experience, and achieve a respected qualification.

Sarah Parsons, Assistant Director for National Improvement Service and Principal Social Worker said:
