As an evidence-based organisation, the Cafcass Analytics team plays a key role in providing information and insights to our staff and external audiences.
As an Analytics Officer, you will join a high performing team of skilled business intelligence professionals who use industry leading technology to meet organisational information requirements. A typical day will involve:
- Producing high quality business intelligence reports
- Providing a first line response to information queries and requests
- Assisting key programmes and projects with information requirements
- Developing new skills and sharing your technical knowledge with other team members and staff
- Supporting the development and testing of reporting systems
To be successful in the role you will have:
- An intermediate to high level understanding of Excel, SQL and Power BI (this will be tested during the selection process)
- Experience of reporting on management information systems, quality checking, analysing and presenting information
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A willingness and desire to develop new technical skills
- A minimum NVQ4 relevant qualification (or equivalent)

Whilst Cafcass supports location flexibility and working from home, you will be expected to be able to commute to a Cafcass office. We have offices in various locations in England, but the majority of our Analytics staff are based in Leeds, Coventry and London.
