Cafcass colleagues celebrated in national awards
Cafcass is delighted to announce that several of its colleagues have individually been recognised in both the Stars of Children and Young People Awards and the Frontline Awards.
Stars of Children and Young People Awards
Seven colleagues were individually shortlisted in the Stars of Children and Young People Awards, one colleague won in their category. These awards celebrate the people who work with children and young people, going above and beyond to provide them with the care and support they need.
The Exceptional Children and Families Social Worker Award was awarded to Faye Kirby, a Cafcass Family Court Adviser, in recognition of her consistent delivery of high-quality practice, and her focus on ensuring the children with whom she works receive outcomes which are safe.
Congratulations also to Family Court Advisers Abi Osborne, Angela Carter, Nicola Marr and Tia Gibbs, and Assistant Service Manager Dawn Scanlon, who were each shortlisted in this category, and to Dylan Abyss, Improvement and Support Manager who was shortlisted in the Learning and Development category.
Frontline Awards
Kelly Smith, a Cafcass Family Court Adviser, was shortlisted for the Frontline Award for Practice for her exemplary work with babies in care proceedings.
Cafcass’ Chief Executive Jacky Tiotto attended the award ceremony to present the award for Practice.
Congratulations to all who were nominated, and to the category winners.
