We know that deciding to apply for a new job is a big decision. Sometimes we host the events ourselves and sometimes we are contributors at other events. For the online events we host, even if you cannot join at the time, sometimes we record them and can share the recording with you.

Past event highlights
We recently held an interactive webinar session which explored the expansion of Child Focused Courts and what this means in practice for Cafcass colleagues, children and families and wider family justice professionals. Speakers shared key insights on Child Impact Reports, new approaches to engaging with children under the one assessment model, and how practice at Cafcass is evolving to better reflect children’s experiences in the family courts. The session provided valuable context for professionals interested in developments across the family justice system, as well as those considering a career with us at Cafcass. Another one of our latest events was the Community Care Live Learning, Networking and Recruitment event which took place in London on 7-8 October 2025. This annual free event for qualified registered social workers provided an opportunity to find out more about our roles at Cafcass and what makes working for us so unique. Our colleagues were on hand at the Cafcass exhibition stand to share their personal insights about the exceptional career pathways and opportunities available with us at Cafcass and to inform social workers of how our roles enable practitioners to positively support children's welfare in family court proceedings.
