Cafcass wins joint–first place at the Granicus Digital Government Awards

Published:

Cafcass is pleased to announce that it has won joint–first place in the Operational Excellence category of the Granicus Digital Government Awards. This award recognises public sector organisations that are leading the way in improving efficiency through the use of technology.

By making the most of digital technology, Cafcass is strengthening engagement with its workforce and supporting its ambition to provide an exceptional experience to every child it works with in family court proceedings. Cafcass’ success in this category is recognition of its use of the digital communications platform GovDelivery to share its weekly all staff bulletin, and its recruitment newsletter for people interested in working for Cafcass. The Cafcass Communications Team has used GovDelivery’s comprehensive metrics to identify opportunities to improve engagement, improve information sharing and to generate interest in working for Cafcass.

Julie Brown, Cafcass Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Director of Resources, said:

“We are delighted to have won this award, which recognises our forward-thinking and innovative practices. This win aligns with our ambition to communicate effectively and with our strategic plan priority to recruit, attract, and retain our people.”
